Our vet told us to buy a raised feeding table to assist our senior years lab to easily feed and drink without experiencing neck and back stress. We chose this version after looking at many sites and reading lots of reviews.
We thought a 12 year old, known to be a big drinker (!) would look at the bowl with float and think it was empty. Took it out till she got used to the feed bowl insert first. When we returned the float she worked out the new way to drink without any help.
Love the quality of every element of this product, including the little lift tab on the float to empty out the bit of water it collects. Thanks for providing such a useful product

Wish I had heard of this product sooner. Absolutely love it and our dogs do as well. The younger one can’t put his feet in the water bowl now and flood the floor constantly and our older one doesn’t have to bend to get to it now as well. No more mopping floors constantly. Dogs love it as much as we do. Definitely recommend to anyone.

I don't normally write reviews but this dog bowl has been so great. Our dog used to be the type that left more on the tiles after drinking than he managed to get in his mouth, and now whe he drinks I don't dread the constant clean up because there is none. He also chokes alot less so not sure if that is the smaller volume or the angle but it's been much better.
Would definitely recommend to anyone with messy drinkers, especially tall older doggos!

I believe the water bowl is not suitable for the way dogs drink, it doesn’t allow them to scoop up the water dogs naturally do, I was concerned my dog would not get enough to drink through the day

It took a few days for my dog to become accustomed to it, but she is good now.
The only downside is that I need to replenish the water compartment a few times a day. I also noticed that the float is not watertight , thus allowing water to ingress over time. Although periodically separating the float components to drain the water doesn't pose too much of an issue.

The raised 'table' is great - very steady and the adjustable height means our kelpie and our visiting greyhound can both eat well. The no splash drink bowl has reduced the water and mess all around the bowls from both dogs and they love it.
